Air Force Museum - Dayton Ohio

Dayton Ohio's Air Force Museum is a great place for the whole family to visit and you can’t beat the price... FREE! You could visit the museum several times and you will see something new every time, it is an amazing place that holds so much of Ohio's and the United States Aviation History.

I have been to the Air Force museum several times and each time I still get chills walking around and looking at all this incredible history in one place and it seems like every few years that I go the Museum has added something new to its collection. The Air Force museum has planes from every era from the beginning of aviation right up through space exploration. You can see some of the earliest planes that the famous Wright brothers designed and built up to some of our nations most sophisticated Aircrafts. I especially enjoy the WWII era planes including the Enola Gay that dropped the Atomic bomb on Hiroshima.

Considering the cost is free and you can keep the whole family entertained for days, it is at the top of my list to take your family on a budget and there are several places in the area to stay and I would also recommend Huber Heights, Huber is close to Interstate 70 and there are some affordable hotels. If you do stay in Huber Heights you HAVE to get a Mama Hoagies Pizza located at 5140 Brandt Pike, their Phone number is 233-0505
